A fully procedural anime-style glass material for Blender — toon shading built entirely with nodes
This material blends transparent and diffuse shading with a glowing rim-light emission pass to get the classic toon/anime glass look. Lightweight, fully customizable, and perfect for a stylized render. Models are included, so you can drop the material straight onto them.
Features:
- Transparent x Diffuse Fac — blends between transparent glass and diffuse toon shading
- Glass Color — customize the base glass tint
- Emission Strength and Emission Color — control the glowing rim-light highlight
- Roughness and IOR — adjust surface glossiness and how light bends through the glass
- Glass Bumpiness Strength, Seed, and Scale — add procedural surface bump to the glass
- Rim Bumpiness Strength, Seed, and Scale — independent bump control for the rim highlight
Perfect for:
- Toon and stylized/anime renders
- Character eyes, gems, and glass props in NPR scenes
- Stylized VFX and motion graphics
