Wood Tiles – Blender Procedural Material

A fully procedural wood tile material for Blender — tile pattern, mortar, and bump built entirely with nodes

This material is built entirely from a single “Wood Tiles” node group feeding a Principled BSDF, no image textures involved. It generates a tiled wood-plank pattern complete with adjustable mortar lines and surface bump.

Features:

  • Scale — resizes the overall tile pattern
  • Tile Width and Row Height — control the proportions of each plank
  • Mortar Size and Mortar Smooth — control the width and softness of the grout lines between tiles
  • Bias — adjusts the offset/stagger of the tile rows
  • Bumpness Strength — controls the surface bump intensity
  • 4 adjustable color stops (Color 0–3) — customize the full wood tone gradient, from dark brown to light tan

Perfect for:

  • Flooring, decking, and wall paneling
  • Architectural visualization
  • Furniture and prop texturing

Included files:

  • Blender project (.blend)
